Returns Policy

This page has everything you need to know about the Suburban Auto Parts return and cancellation policies. If for some reason you can’t find an answer to your question, please contact us.
Can I return the part or accessory I ordered?
You may return a part of accessory under the following conditions:
- Return requests need to be within 30 days of receipt.
- All returns will need to have a copy of the invoice included.
- Volvo parts under $10.00 are NOT returnable due to Volvo corporate policy.
- Mercedes-Benz parts under $10.00 are NOT returnable.
- A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all returns.
- All returned parts must be resalable in the original packaging.
Are there certain parts I can’t return?
Yes. Returns we will not accept:
- Any returns of used parts.
- Any returns of installed or tried parts.
- Any returns of electrical parts.
- We reserve the right to refuse and return any parts we find have been installed, are used, or do not meet the above criteria.
Who covers return shipping?
You are responsible for return shipping costs. We do recommend you purchase insurance for your package.
How long do returns take to process?
Normally, it takes 5-10 business days to process returns.
What happens if you ship the wrong part?
We’re sorry, we’ll take care of our mistake, and it won’t cost you anything other than some inconvenience. However, we can’t be responsible if we shipped you the part you ordered and it just didn’t fit.
What happens if the part is damaged during shipping?
If your part arrives damaged, we will get you a replacement as soon as possible. Please file a claim with the carrier and inform us immediately. Please keep the damaged box until the matter is resolved.
Claims for damaged or missing parts must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
What happens if the part doesn’t fit my vehicle?
If Suburban Auto Parts makes a mistake and send you the incorrect part, we will make it right. If you ordered the incorrect part, please feel free to return it to us. Contact customer service for a return authorization number (RMA).
What if I never receive an order?
We’ll send you a tracking number for your order once it is shipped. Please plan to be home for receipt or leave directions for the driver to put in somewhere secure. If you believe your Suburban Auto Parts order has been lost or stolen, please contact the shipping carrier immediately.
What happens if I refuse the shipment?
Refusing a shipment is not the correct way to return your item. It causes major hassle on our end and could result in added fees for you. Instead, accept the shipment then contact customer service for a return authorization number (RMA).
What if my return never arrives?
In the uncommon event that your return shipment does not arrive to us, we are not able to offer you a refund. That is why we highly recommend buying insurance for anything you ship back to us.
What if I need to make a warranty claim and return a part?
Each manufacturer has their own process for warranty claims. If you have a part that has a warranty problem, contact us and we’ll guide you on next steps.
I want to purchase a part on your site but it requires a core deposit. What does this mean?
There are certain products that can be recycled or remanufactured to OEM standards for future sale. The components that are to be reconditioned have a core deposit. Learn more about our core policy.
Cancellation Policy
- A full order or a portion of an order can be cancelled any time before the order has shipped.
- If an order has already shipped, you will need to contact customer service and arrange for a return of the order.
- A 15% return fee may be applied to parts special ordered from the manufacturer.
