Radiators

The radiator and cooling system in your engine is what helps keep your vehicle from overheating. The cooling system in your vehicle is comprised of a lot of working parts, including your car's radiator. The radiator is what helps regulate the temperature of your engine, sending coolant through hoses to cool down the hottest parts of your engine. It's important to maintain your radiator and keep it in good condition so it can keep your engine running efficiently. There are some signs to look out for that might indicate your radiator needs replacement or repair. One is seeing coolant leak onto the ground underneath your vehicle. This can come from a crack in the radiator. If you check the coolant in your radiator and find that it's full of debris or sludge, this can also be a sign of something wrong with the system. Of course, if you find your car is overheating, there is some sort of problem with the cooling system. Keep an eye on the temperature gauge and see how often you are in the "red zone." Make sure you get an OEM radiator for your vehicle when you need a replacement. We have OEM replacements here at Suburban Auto Parts.
